Loxley Gold standard depth stretched canvas has been individually handmade from quality materials. Sustainably sourced kiln dried pine is used for the 16mm deep frames with an 11oz per yard (380gsm), medium grain, 100% pure cotton which is sized and then triple-primed with universal primer to produce an outstanding surface that takes the paint at its best. With minimal colour sink; each brush stroke is captured exactly as the artist intended so inspiration can flow unhindered. For the Gold traditional range, the canvas is fastened with staples at the back of the frame which gives it a clean, tack-free edge which is 16mm deep. There are 30 different sizes available in this range which are available individually or cheaper by the carton.
