How can I prevent spray paint from bleeding under my stencils when painting on glass or smooth metal?

Bleeding occurs on smooth, non-porous surfaces when paint pools under the edges of the stencil. To achieve crisp edges:

• Use Repositionable Spray Adhesive - Coat the back of your stencil with light spray adhesive, press it firmly onto the glass or metal, and burnish the edges down completely.
• Switch to Low Pressure & Fine Caps - Use Montana GOLD spray paint (which is low-pressure) fitted with a fine level cap (such as a Level 1 or Level 2 cap) for controlled, misted output.
• Apply Light, Dusting Coats - Hold the can 8–10 inches away and apply multiple paper-thin dusting passes rather than one wet coat. Let each pass dry for a few minutes before applying the next.
