Mottler with mongoose synthetic fibre, a short contoured transparent-bordeaux laquered handle and a nickel-plated iron ferrule.
Mongoose synthetic fibre is characterised by great softness and absorbency along with a slow release of water. It is ideal for watercolours and painting techniques requiring reduced thicknesses and high degrees of dilution, such as diluted acrylic or oil in very light glazing. Wide at the base and thin at the tip, the imitation mongoose synthetifc fibre perfectly replaces softer animal hair.
Series 311 is ideal for applying base coatings with a slow and homogeneous release of water, without leaving any strokes in the fluid colour. Much appreciated by watercolourists, colour professionals and painters. The handle is short and balanced, being highly manageable and having a hole at the end.
The line is full and soft when pressure is applied, leaving no strokes. When used on the narrow side, it creates long and continuous lines with a slow release of water and colour.
