Series 302 Mottler Brush with Gold Synthetic Fibre and Wooden Handle

Simple thickness medium-length mottler with gold fibre, short pearl-grey water-varnished wooden handle and stainless-steel ferrule.

The soft and elastic gold fibre is ideal for acrylic, for preparing watercolour bases, for gouache and paints without thickness. The short handle is easy to handle whilst the steel ferrule is resistant to oxidation that occurs after extensive soaking in water or solvents.

Series 302 is used instead of the ox hair, offering the same characteristics of lightness and elasticity. The medium-long filament maintains its shape over time, and allows the application of bases and final varnishes without leaving strokes.

The brushstroke is wide and with a medium release of water and colour, thin when used in cutting. The handle is painted with a particular semi-transparent coating that is more resistant to immersion. The handle is traditional and light, with a hole at the back.
