Large Stretched Canvases FAQs

How do I choose the best artists canvas for my artwork?

In art, there is no right or wrong, and the ideal surface for your art simply depends on your preferences. Each stretched and chunky white canvas is ready to use as it is, whereas canvas rolls will need stretching onto a stretcher bar frame using canvas pliers. The unprimed canvas rolls will need priming as well as stretching. For smaller works, particularly if you are painting away from the studio, a canvas board or panel may be your preference and will be great to work on.

All our flat canvases are suitable for oil paints, acrylics, and mixed media, so you can confidently choose any surface you want for your work.

Do you offer free shipping on your artist canvases?

Yes, we offer free shipping on all UK art supplies orders over £30.

What is your returns policy?

You can return items to us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund subject to them being in good condition and in their original packaging. This will have to be done at your own expense and using your chosen carrier.

If your order contains faulty or damaged items, please email sales@loxleyarts.co.uk, and our team will assist you. Please email us clear photos of your faulty/damaged item within 3-5 days of receiving your order.
