Mental Health Awareness Week will take place from 10th – 16th May 2021. The theme for this year will be ‘Nature’.
Nature in our everyday lives can benefit your mental and physical wellbeing, and in this last year, there has been a massive increase with people finding comfort and relief from nature. Some of the few benefits, nature has on mental health are improving your mood, reducing feelings of stress, anxiety and anger, improving your confidence and self-esteem and helping people to feel more relaxed. It is important that we all understand the link between nature and mental health, and try and get outside when possible to demonstrate the powerful benefits that nature can have on our mental health.
Lets all do our bit to support and help each other.
